The Cleansing Of Earth

Up in my tower, I sit in solitude
And rejoice as chthonic horrors
are set free from their chains
By long forgotten gods and heroes

I rejoice as they unleash their wrath
upon foolish humans,
And consume their degenerate world
with black flames of chaos

I rejoice as I am myself engulfed by the flames –
As my purified spirit drifts into immortal planes,
I celebrate the cleansing of Earth
and the promise of a new beginning…
