From time immemorial light touches soil
as the sun sinks into the underworld.
Drags along spiritual ascension,
divests shelter of the innocent.
Shivering I gaze
upon the flickering nightshades.
Silhouettes whisper the forthcoming decease.
Hence – you shapes of the pursuers!
