Gloried Dirt

We arrived only yesterday.
We thought ourselves the most important in all creation.
But we were just an accident among many more.
Glorified dirt.
Rational yet ignorant.
Moral, but only to ourselves.
Lock our minds away in our history that includes only yesterday.
It was just an accident.
