The Truth Is Out There

we ask the questions, but we are afraid of the
answers. so we settle back down into misery,
to hide from the truth for another day. I won’t back
down! content with some fool’s theories, we soak it up and claim to be supreme. but I ask, why don’t these ends meet? in response, misdirection and juggling. I… cannot be… content with… what I know… and ignore it for another day! we ignore the questions of our existence and consume ourselves with illusion.
I finally see no point to it my friend. I won’t back down!
