Rainbow

Roger Frederick

I spent so much time being for others something that I was not
Neither do I know myself, getting away from everyone
My soul on the ride, disappeared whenever I felt me alive
People told me I’m ugly, but I knew they was not right

Now it’s the time to set me free
I’m like that and I can see
Otherwise no one else can love me

Honey, I’m colored like a rainbow, like a rainbow
So blue and red, not being afraid it’s my biggest essence
And I’m colored like a rainbow, like a rainbow
Green and orange, at the same time I feel these colors paint my head

When I looked in the mirror I only saw the shadow of old times
But now I look at myself and I got just pride
I think if they like me then they will accept me for who I am
I cry when necessary and it doesn’t make me any less man

Now it’s the time to break free
I’m like that and I can see
Happy I’m, even like this I keep loving me

Honey, I’m colored like a rainbow, like a rainbow
So blue and red, not being afraid is my biggest essence
And I’m colored like a rainbow, like a rainbow
Green and orange, at the same time I feel these colors paint my head

All of them talking at the same time
It totally wipes me out inside
I’m trying not to fall in line
But for that I will have to keep in the way I win

So colored like a rainbow, like a rainbow
So blue and red, not being afraid is my biggest essence
And I’m colored like a rainbow, like a rainbow
Green and orange, at the same time I feel these colors paint my head

I feel these colors paint my head
If you think it compiling
Even like that I rise the flag
