Patriarchy, destroying self-confidence
Their misery, murdering innocence

We put beauty on a pedestal
While our standards are close to skeletal
Why choose to teach the superficial
Closer to artificial
What if I don’t want to
Fit in your picture inside your head
Will you abuse me
Until I’m a perfect but shredded mess
Body positivity is enforcing conventional attractiveness
What if we chose to stop caring?
